William Howard Taft Bridge

As I mentioned in my Washington DC post, I traveled with only my film cameras (my Canon Rebel EOS 2000 and my Diana F+) and, of course, my phone camera. One of the more photogenic sights was the William Howard Taft Bridge which was very close to where we were staying. It is more or less perpendicular to the Duke Ellington Memorial Bridge so I found a good place there to take the same shot (more or less) of the Taft Bridge with a variety of cameras and films (click on any photo for a larger version).

First, I took a picture with my phone camera (Samsung Galaxy 5S).

Then, with my Canon Rebel EOS 2000 loaded with Kodak Professional Tri-X 400 Black and White film.

Then again with the Canon, but this time with Fujifilm Fujicolor PRO 400H Professional Color film.

And finally, with the Diana F+ with the 120mm version of the Fujifilm Fujicolor PRO 400H Professional Color.

I had also taken a couple of photos of the bridge from different angles with my Canon on the Kodak Black and White.

It was fun and fascinating to see the same shot with different cameras and films and a good reminder how different pictures can turn out depending on what I am shooting with.
