I was so glad that my Olympus XA still worked after it hit the ground while we were on vacation. Not only does it take good pictures, but it’s also my smallest film camera so it’s convenient to have it with me in various situations. On a couple of occasions I brought it along with me as a backup camera while shooting with my sometimes unreliable Olympus OM-1.
Recently, I shot a roll of Kodak Pro Image in it. I took it out on 3 occasions.
The first time was a day when Holly and I went for a walk to the Schuylkill River Trail. I had also taken some photos with the OM-1 on that outing.

My next outing was during a lunch break while working from home.

It’s been great that the weather is slowly getting cooler. The heat had been such a deterrent for most of the summer. The better weather has certainly presented more opportunities to take photo walks.
One morning, I went out for a walk before starting work and was able to finish the roll of Pro Image. I don’t often get out that early in the morning and was happy to get some great morning light.

As usual, I was pleased with the results I got with the Olympus XA. I sometimes have issues with focusing it, but that was less prevalent with this roll. I hope that’s a sign that I’m finally getting used to its finicky focusing.

I like Kodak Pro Image. Itās the one 35-film stock with which Iāve had consistently pleasing results. It seems you have too.
It’s been too long since my last walk around Philly.

I shot my first roll of Pro Image only a little over a year ago and really like it. It has some limitations since it’s 100 ISO but it’s great on those sunny days.
