In mid-October, I took another walk before work. I went out with my Nikon Z fc and my Nikkor 18-140mm lens. I’ve really enjoyed the handful of times I’ve been able to get out for a photo walk before work:
I rarely get out early so it’s been nice getting some different sun angles.
For this walk, I headed toward Old City. Since it was mid-October, I was able to get pictures of some fall color and decorations.

There were several shots where the morning light really came into play.

The rest of my walk yielded a handful of other decent photos.

For whatever reason, I’ve never been all that comfortable with taking pictures of strangers. I started making an effort to include more people in some of my shots, mainly in incidental ways as with the dog walking photo above.

I’ve been really happy with my Nikon Z fc. I bought it to have a smaller digital camera for traveling but it has been a pleasure to use in other situations. The Nikkor 18-140mm lens has been a great all-purpose lens.
